Benchmarks: Dirt 2, F1 2010
When testing with Dirt 2 at 1920x1200, we were surprised to find that the Radeon HD 6950 was just 6% slower than the HD 6970 as only 5fps separated the two. This meant that the HD 6950 was 9% faster than the HD 6870 and 3% faster than the HD 5870. Meanwhile, it was 27% slower than the GeForce GTX 570 and it only managed to match the performance of the GTX 470.
The F1 2010 results are interesting because the Radeon HD 6950 was 5% slower than the older HD 5870 at 1920x1200. It was 7% faster than the Radeon HD 6870, and 9% slower than the HD 6970. An average of 61fps at 1920x1200 had the Radeon HD 6950 performing 11% faster than both the GeForce GTX 570 and GTX 470.
