It seems like there is no end to the number of LGA 1155 motherboards that see the light of day ever since the introduction of the Sandy Bridge processor line, ASRock just increasing the number of solutions available by one with the release of the home entertainment oriented H67M-GE/HT model.
Just as its name implies, the motherboard is based on Intel's H67 chipset that comes packed with a flexible display interface (FDI) in order to allow the use of the Sandy Bridge integrated graphics core.
As a result, the board features a wide variety of video output ports, including VGA, DVI, DisplayPort and HDMI 1.4a, making it compatible with 3D content playback.
Of course, users can also opt for a discrete graphics card if they so desire as the H67M-GE/HT packs a PCI Express x16 graphics slot, together to other two PCIe x1 slots, and a regular PCI slot.
The board supports as much as 32GB of DDR3 memory, thanks to the four DIMM slots available, as well as five SATA storage devices, two of the installed ports working at 6Gbps.
The sixth SATA connection available in the H67 PCH is routed to the back panel as an eSATA port, next to it ASRock including two USB 3.0 ports, four regular USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet connectivity, and 7.1 channel sound with THX TruStudio PRO certification.
Everything else is pretty standard, except for the C.C.O. (Combo Cooler Option) system that allows customers to reuse their old LGA 775 coolers with this motherboard.
The bundle is somewhat more special than what we usually find with such boards, ASRock offering the H67M-GE/HT together with a Windows Media Center compatible remote and a pair of 3D red/cyan anaglyph glasses.
Unfortunately, no details regarding pricing have been made official until now, and a quick online price search didn't manage to turn out anything in this regard.
