Micro-Star International may have stolen the show, so to speak, by being quick in revealing its Twin Frozr II-cooled version of NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 560 Ti, but PNY's own card seems to have gotten its own listing as well.
Some time ago, NVIDIA revealed that it would be reviving its Ti moniker when launching the GeForce GTX 560 board.
This will allow it to differentiate between its high-end cards and the rest of the lineup, meaning that mainstream and entry-level users will have an easier time of identifying a model suitable for them.
Regardless, while it has not yet launched officially, the GTX 560 Ti has been the subject of leaks, along with custom-made boards.
One of them was spotted up for pre-order not too long ago and bears the name of MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II OC.
Basically, it is a redesigned 560 with Military Class II components and, of course, the Twin Frozr II dual-fan cooler.
Regardless, another iteration of the GTX 560 Ti has been spotted online, this one developed by PNY.
The clock speeds of the 40nm-based GPU, the shaders and the 1 GB of GDDR5 VRAM are unclear.
Still, one can safely assume that, given the GF114 graphics processing unit, the PNY board, like the others, has a memory interface of 256 bits, 32 ROPs and 384 CUDA cores.
The part number that the online store has listed for the product is VCGGTX560TXPB and the video output options are the same dual-DVI and mini HDMI as on MSI's model.
The GeForce GTX 560 Ti will replace the GTX 460 once makes its appearance, since the GF114 uses the same manufacturing process as the one that spawned the GF104 GPU.
The pre-order price is set at $261.03, a large amount which will, hopefully, be cut down once official availability is reached.
