Following Sapphire, HIS (Hightech Information System) is the second AMD board partner confirmed to be releasing a Radeon HD 6950 with 1GB of GDDR5 memory. The card hasn't been officially announced but it's likely to debut later this month, close to the launch day of Nvidia's GeForce GTX 560.
Beside having half the 'usual' amount of memory for a HD 6950, HIS' card stands out thanks to the use of a custom cooler with a central fan. Clock-wise, there's 800 MHz for the GPU and 5000 MHz for the memory (yep, it's stock), while other feature include CrossFireX and Eyefinity support, and dual-DVI, HDMI and dual mini DisplayPort outputs.
The HIS 6950 Fan 1GB is not yet priced.
