Lenovo has unveiled what it calls the world's smallest "fully functional" desktop PC, the IdeaCentre Q180, which is destined to become an "entertainment" hub.
The product, which will cost $349 in the US, is only 22mm thick and comes with an Intel Atom dual core processor, the D2700, which is clocked at 2.13GHz and has 1MB L2 cache.
There's also up to 4GB DDR3 memory (presumably in SODIMM format), up to 750GB HDD or 128GB SSD, Wi-FI, a VESA mount, an AMD Radeon HD 6450 graphics module, 7.1 channel surround sound, SPDIF, HDMI Out, VGA, USB 3.0, Bluetooth.
Lenovo has even managed to stuff a slot-in Blu-ray Drive (optional) in the PC and the video subsystem is powerful enough to support full HD 1080p output.
As far as aesthetics are concerned, the Q180 looks stunning and stands vertically with most ports at the back. There's also a cracking remote control that doubles as a keyboard complete with what looks like a digital trackball.
The device is available in the US via Lenovo.com and through selected retailers. The company hasn't yet confirmed whether or when it will be available in the UK.
