CyberLink has today introduced the 11th version of its PowerDVD software which can be used to play Blu-ray/DVD movies, videos, view photos and listen to music. The content seen with PowerDVD can come from a hard drive, an optical drive, the internet, or from mobile devices like phones and tablets.

The main addition to PowerDVD 11 is the ability to access media from almost anywhere, while other goodies available include support for a heap of file formats, the TrueTheater video upscaling technology (also does 2D to 3D conversion), optimized CPU/GPU hardware acceleration, and multiple sharing capabilities.

PowerDVD 11 is available in three (full) editions - Standard ($49.95), Deluxe ($69.95) and Ultra ($99.95), and as an upgrade (for as low as $29.95).
