Have you booked up everything for the summer holiday and are now thinking of what gadgets to bring along? Well, one choice may be Samsung's upcoming W200 pocket-sized (60 x 113 x 19.7 mm) camcorder which can record 1920 x 1080 videos (at 30fps) and can take a beating.

Of course you're not going to molest the W200, but even so it features a durable shell which makes it shock-proof (it withstands falls from up to 2 meters), dust-proof and water-proof (up to 3 meters) and utilizes an anti-fog coating that ensures clear, blur-free videos and pictures 'even straight after coming out of the pool'.

Samsung's camcorder comes equipped with a 5 megapixel BSI (Back Side Illuminated) CMOS sensor, a 2.3-inch (230,000-dot) LCD screen, has DIS (digital image stabilization), a microSD card slot, USB and HDMI ports, and a built-in 1300mAh battery. Those interested will be able to purchase the W200 as of next month for $159.
