Taking on Kingston's HyperX MAX 3.0, Verbatim is launching its own portable/external solid state drive with a USB 3.0 interface. Verbatim's solution comes in a slim but durable aluminum case, utilizes an 8-channel configuration and bears the Store 'n' Go brand.

According to its maker, the 32GB model offers read/write speeds of up to 150/60 MB/s, while the 64GB reaches 160/120 MB/s and the 128GB tops 190/175 MB/s. All three SSDs are bundled with a drawstring pouch and a USB 3.0 cable.

The 32GB, 64GB and 128GB Stone 'n' Go USB 3.0 External SSDs have recommended price tags of €99, €159 and €279, respectively.
