Apacer Technology is expanding its solid state drive offer with a new line of entry-level models known as Pro II Series AS202 which feature a 2.5-inch form factor, MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash memory chips and a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface.
The AS202 SSDs also have 14/28-bit ECC, TRIM support, consume as low as 0.6W when idle, and are backed by a two-year warranty. The drives will soon be available in the following capacities:
- 32GB delivering read/write speeds of up to 210/60 MB/s
- 64GB topping 210/110 MB/s
- 128GB and 256GB reaching 230/180 MB/s
