Gigabyte readies overclocked, custom-cooled 1GB Radeon HD 6950

After Sapphire and HIS, Gigabyte has also been confirmed to have a 1GB Radeon HD 6950 for fighting off the incoming GeForce GTX 560 Ti. Gigabyte's 1GB Cayman-based board is codenamed GV-R695OC-1GD, is factory-overclocked and features the three-fan WindForce 3X cooler.




The GV-R695OC-1GD has an Ultra Durable design (2oz copper PCB, solid caps), 1408 Stream Processors, a GPU clock of 870 MHz, a 256-bit memory interface, a memory clock of 5000 MHz, CrossFireX support, and dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. Expect more info (like pricing) very soon.
