The FSP Group is coming out with a new line of power supplies which bears the name Aurum and can brag with an 80Plus Gold certification and an efficiency of 90%. The Aurum family includes 400W, 500W, 600W and 700W units, all of which are backed by a five-year warranty.
The fresh PSUs have a Granite-Touch finish, and feature an MIA (Multiple Intelligence Ability) chip ensuring high performance and protection, a Hybrid Synergy 12V rail design (two 12V rails on the 400/500W models, four on the 600/700W units), 105 °C Japanese-made capacitors, active PFC, and a 120mm FDB (fluid dynamic bearing) PWM fan.
The Aurum PSUs are ATX12V v2.3 & EPS12V v2.92 compliant.
