I-O Data readies new, dual-drive RAID solution

By the end of this month I-O Data will release in Japan the HDC2-US series external drives which feature an USB 2.0/1.1 interface and pack two 1TB or 2TB HDDs configured either in RAID 0 or 1, depending on needs - extra storage or extra backup.

The 2TB and 4TB HDC2-US drives measure 82.2 x 111.2 x 181.6 mm, they weight about 2.1kg, are backed by a one-year warranty and cost $256 and $386.
